Position: QA ANALYST (AI);

Location: Portugal | Remote;

About this role:

We are looking for a QA Analyst with Artificial Intelligence expertise to join our BPCE SI Business Unit. The successful candidate will combine strong manual and functional testing skills with hands-on knowledge of AI/ML systems, ensuring the quality, reliability and robustness of AI-powered applications.

Main responsibilities:

• Create test strategies and test plans adapted to AI/ML-based systems;
• Design, execute and maintain manual and exploratory test cases;
• Test functional, non-functional and AI-specific scenarios, including model behaviour, edge cases, bias and explainability;
• Perform backlog analysis, estimate testing effort and identify potential risks;
• Support UAT activities, ensuring business requirements are correctly reflected in AI outputs;
• Analyse test results, including model outputs, prediction accuracy and regression impacts;
• Identify, track and report bugs/defects and validate fixes;
• Perform data quality checks and data pipeline validation;
• Contribute to the definition of AI quality metrics and KPIs such as accuracy and precision;
• Challenge AI model requirements and acceptance criteria with Product Owners;
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Must-have:

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst;
• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model training, inference and datasets;
• Experience with JIRA/XRAY;
• Experience with API testing, preferably Postman or SoapUI;
• Knowledge of SQL/SQL Developer for data validation;
• Knowledge of Python or scripting for test data preparation;
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment;
• Good communication and documentation skills;
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and autonomous profile;
• Good level of English. | French is a plus

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium or Katalon;
• Knowledge of AI-specific testing, including robustness, fairness and explainability;
• Experience defining AI quality metrics and KPIs;
• French language skills;
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or equivalent;
• Experience with data pipeline validation and AI model performance monitoring.
