Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate

The Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate will join Infor's CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) team. This role is primarily focused on manual testing (80%), ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of a cloud-based application through comprehensive validation of new features, enhancements, defect fixes, and release cycles. The remaining 20% of the role involves exposure to automation-related initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and fellow QA professionals to deliver high-quality software that meets customer expectations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to deepen expertise in software quality assurance while gaining exposure to emerging technologies and AI-assisted testing practices. A Typical Day in the Life Includes: Develop and execute test cases based on defined requirements Identify, document, and track software defects and issues with clear and concise descriptions. Collaborate with BA and development teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards Perform testing activities including feature testing (functional and non-functional), regression testing, and bug/defect testing Minimal exposure to automation using C# and AI-assisted testing Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback for product improvements Utilize tools such as Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the QA team Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Hands-on experience performing manual testing in web-based or cloud-based applications. Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports. Familiarity with defect lifecycle management and bug tracking processes. Basic exposure to automation testing Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify risks and defects proactively. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
