Quality Assurance Engineer

Antaeus Travel Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing end-to-end test strategies to ensure the highest quality of our Angular-based web applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies, a solid grasp of the Angular framework, and a commitment to delivering a flawless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Angular applications, ensuring all features and critical user flows are thoroughly tested.
• Test Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable automated E2E test suites using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Protractor (though Protractor is deprecated, it's still relevant in some legacy projects).
• Manual Testing: Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression testing to identify and report bugs and inconsistencies that may not be caught by automated tests.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking: Meticulously document, track, and manage software defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, ensuring clear and concise reproduction steps.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) to enable early and continuous feedback on code quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load tests to ensure the application's responsiveness and stability under various conditions; prior experience with load and performance testing using Azure DevOps will be considered a plus.
• Maintenance: Regularly review and update existing test suites to adapt to new features and changes in the application.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on E2E testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with E2E testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Protractor.
• Experience testing Single Page Applications (SPA); familiarity with Angular will be considered a plus.
• Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript, for writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
