You will be responsible for the front-end development and maintenance of our web-based e-book sales service. The development environment utilizes Vue.js and Node.js, and all work is 100% in-house service and in-house development.

The scope of work is broad, covering problem discovery, proposals, specification reviews, requirements definition, design, development, release, and operations. Your preferences will be taken into account, allowing you to be actively involved from the planning stages onward.

Responsibilities and Role

With the goal of improving both product and project quality, you will be responsibly for the entire lifecycle of QA—from formulating test strategies to execution and continuous improvement. As this product (a manga application) operates across both web and mobile app platforms and is deployed as part of the global WEBTOON Worldwide Service, complex system integrations and daily collaboration with the South Korean development team are a standard part of the role. The QA Engineer serves as the cornerstone of service quality, driving product growth from both a technical and operational/systemic standpoint.

Designing and operating test processes that account for the unique characteristics of web and smartphone applications

Executing QA operations aimed at elevating both project and product qualit

Conducting QA reviews of technical designs with a focus on service quality improvement, and proactively making optimization proposals

Liaising and communicating with key stakeholders, including planners, developers, and vendors

Aligning and collaborating on quality standards with the South Korean development team

Driving test automation and integrating QA processes into CI/CD pipelines

Boosting overall team quality through the standardization of QA processes and preparation of documentation

Post-release quality monitoring and continuous improvement activities

5+ years of experience in all aspects of testing, from design to execution

Experience in QA for web or smartphone applications
