Quality Assurance Engineer - Software Security

Join Nokia's Optical Networks R&D team and contribute to the development of secure, high-performance networking solutions powering next-generation communication infrastructures.
As part of an Agile Scrum team, you will help ensure security and quality are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python.
• Execute functional and security testing, including authentication, authorization, API security, vulnerability validation, and robustness testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and security specialists to support secure-by-design development.
• Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, security automation, and AI-assisted testing approaches.

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with Python test automation.
• Knowledge of software security principles, Linux environments, and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of security testing and secure development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have:

• DevSecOps experience.
• Security testing tools and automation frameworks.
• AI/ML applications in software quality or cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of optical networking technologies.
