Position Overview At Electric Ireland Superhomes we empower our customers to achieve warmer, healthier, low-carbon homes. Our purpose is guiding Irish homeowners through the home energy retrofit process to deliver on Ireland’s climate action targets. Through our One-Stop-Shop we offer professional services through design and oversight of whole house energy efficiency solutions. To support our growth ambitions we are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Specialist. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all home retrofit projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role involves monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement to deliver exceptional results to customers. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in the growth field of energy engineering and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for retrofit projects. Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with project teams to implement effective solutions. Document and report on quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken. Train staff on quality assurance techniques, safety standards, and best practices. Review project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, environmental science, or a related field or relevant Craft qualification (Plumbing or Electrician). Previous experience in quality assurance, ideally within the construction or retrofit sector. Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and retrofit methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software. Desirable Attributes Certification in Quality Assurance or a related field (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma). Experience with energy efficiency or sustainable building practices. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational and time management skills. Location Travel will be a feature of this role. This role will be a blend of site-based, office-based and remote working.
