Job Description
Insight Carolinas, a mental health practice, located in Charlotte, NC has an immediate opening for a part-time, Quality Assurance Specialist, to join our growing team. The position will be mostly remote with the possibility of going into the office occasionally (if local).
Part-time hourly rate offered for this position is starting at $20/hr and we are looking for someone to work 10-20 hours per week. Part-time staff qualify for up to 5 days of PTO. If you desire a full-time position in the future, full-time staff qualify for 401k, paid vacation, and insurance coverage.
This is a unique opportunity to join an incredible team that currently consists of five licensed psychologists, a postdoctoral fellow, six therapists and an amazing support staff. We treat our employees well and value their input as essential members of the team.
What You Will Do:
● Actively participate in our quality assurance process by drafting reports for the testing provider which includes transferring scores from the testing appointment from our EHR and adding pertinent data related to clients as well as reviewing the draft after the provider writes their portion to check for accuracy and there are no grammatical errors.
● You are the final step in the assessment process and what you send to the client is what they will use to access services based on the diagnosis provided. While the intake team is responsible for providing a great first impression, this role is what clients will remember more as it is the last step in the process with our office. What you do and how well you do it, matters!
● Work closely with our QA Lead to ensure that reports are delivered to families within 3 weeks of the testing date (sooner if possible).
What You Will Bring:
● Bachelor’s degree preferred, bonus points if focused in the field of Psychology.
● Graduate level mental health training preferred (ongoing okay)
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
● Attention to detail and demonstrated strengths in organizing, multitasking, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
● Collaborative nature as well as the ability to work independently.
Why You’ll Love Insight:
We offer a competitive salary plus additional benefits including:
● Safe Harbor 401(k), with dollar for dollar employer match for the first 3% of employee contribution and 50% match for 4th and 5th percent.
● Remote, flexible schedule (we do prefer some sort of set schedule each week but if you are able to work outside those hours, that is fine too).
● Ability to learn more about psychological diagnoses, tests, and conceptualization as you read the completed work of various psychologists.
● Given that we are able to provide a flexible work schedule, we are happy to work in tandem with school schedules to support students who work. This position in particular is great for college students as this doesn’t have to be done during traditional business hours however 75% of hours would need to be during the business week (M-F) to ensure drafts and reports are sent out in time to providers and clients.
● Hourly employees are given PTO days on a yearly basis to use at their discretion. Salary, full-time employees are offered paid vacation, sick time and paid holidays.
● As the team continues to grow, it is our hope to eventually be able to offer medical benefits as well as professional development opportunities.
