The Quality Auditing Specialist is responsible for conducting reviews of external organizations’ (Employment Network’s) records to ensure compliance to standards established by the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) Ticket to Work Program. The Quality Auditing Specialist must ensure Ticketholder Individual Work Plans (IWPs) meet SSA requirements and that the Employment Network (EN) provides services outlined in the IWP.

The Specialist must ensure timely execution of follow-up activities including gathering of data, completion of document review, and reporting of review findings. Findings should be clearly discussed in a Services and Review Report Summary and when necessary, a meeting should be scheduled to outline corrective actions and opportunities for improvement identified during the review process.

Based on contract needs, the position may transition to being responsible for conducting initial and re-entry Timely Progress Review (TPR) determinations for beneficiaries participating in the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) Ticket to Work Program. The determination review requires accurate, timely, and efficient processing of records. The role further supports Ticketholders and ENs in verifying beneficiary progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare audit schedule and reminders, conduct research and coordination as necessary for all QA activities.
  • Schedule and conduct Services and Supports reviews against the appropriate standards.
  • Compile and report review findings to both leadership and ENs.
  • Communicate with and support ENs through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings.
  • Assist/support ENs in Ticket Assignment and Unassignment associated with Ticketholder eligibility.
  • Review and fact-check documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews assigned by Leadership.
  • Validate analysis and outreach activities in accordance to policies and directives.
  • Analyze work based on current policies, directives, and investigation through available resources and further research.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure timeliness and quality standards are met.
  • Contribute positively to a work environment that is flexible, adaptable, and team based.
  • Work to become knowledgeable of Ticket to Work program requirements.
  • Possess an understanding of the handling and safeguarding of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with case review, documentation validation, or compliance‑driven review processes preferred.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
