  • Encourage and facilitate the sharing of knowledge, skills, and best practices across the Chapter to enhance technical expertise and innovation.
  • Work closely with other Chapter Leads, Product Managers, Principle Software Engineers and Technical Delivery Leads to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment across the organization ensuring the right resources are assigned to the right projects, balancing workload within the

  • Continuously evaluate and improve the testing processes and practices, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that enhance team productivity, test coverage, and overall product quality.
  • Be an active participant in solving complex technical problems, driving technical decision-making, and providing guidance on best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Have financial accountability for the backlog of the Quality Engineering Chapter, ensuring there is appropriate ROI tracking that can be reported on a quarterly basis, clearly demonstrating the continuous improvement driven through this investment.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Expertise in accelerating adoption of automated Quality Engineering practices integrated directly into CI/CD pipelines, in collaboration with the Platform Engineering function.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team of quality engineers. Experience in mentoring, coaching, and fostering individual and team growth.
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels to ensure understanding and consistency of practice.
  • Proven experienced delivery and leadership in Agile ways of working, e.g. Scrum and Continuous Delivery.
  • Knowledge of evaluating and selecting third-party testing tools or service providers that can improve quality engineering processes.
