Quality Inspector Job Description What you’ll do: • Perform inspections of materials, in-process and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. • Apply approval or rejection labels to materials based on analytical data. • Assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. • Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls. • Follow established procedures, processes, or policies, but use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions. • Participate in project teams or lead portions of projects. • Complete final inspection before a product is moved to distribution. • Provide resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems. • Serve as a liaison between Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers. What you’ll bring: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2-4 years of experience in quality inspection or related field required. • Ability to follow established procedures, processes, or policies, but use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions. • Ability to participate in project teams or lead portions of projects. • Thorough knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and processes in the applicable discipline and a working knowledge of related fields. • Ability to provide resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems. • Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions. • Moderate computer skills.
