About the Company
Davidson is partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Accountant. This is an opportunity to join an established finance function, supporting financial reporting, commercial analysis and continuous improvement across the APAC region.
About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering accurate monthly financial reporting, providing commercial insights and driving improvements across finance processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and deliver month-end management reporting, including variance analysis and financial performance insights.
- Manage accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to interpret financial results and support business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve financial controls and enhance process efficiency.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting and data management.
About You
You will be a commercially minded Accountant with strong analytical capabilities and experience working in a complex finance environment.
To be successful, you will bring:
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
- Strong experience in management reporting, financial analysis and month-end processes.
- Experience managing business unit P&Ls and balance sheets.
- Sound knowledge of accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful commercial insights.
