R&D / Innovation Coordinator | Finance | Freelance | Remote (Spain)

We’re looking for an R&D / Innovation Coordinator to support R&D incentive and innovation projects across Spain and the UK.

Location: Spain | Fully remote

Contract: Freelance | 1 year

Start date: ASAP

Rate: Up to €172/day

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in project coordination or project management
• Background in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and strong data management skills
• Experience managing timelines, deadlines and multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience with process improvement, change management or automation
• Ideally, knowledge of R&D tax incentives, public funding, finance/tax consulting or technology projects
• Confidence working with Finance, HR/People, technical teams, management and external advisors

The role

You’ll coordinate R&D incentive projects across Spain and the UK, manage documentation and deadlines, support data collection and process automation, drive internal adoption of R&D tracking processes and help ensure audit readiness and compliance.

Occasional travel to the Barcelona office may be required for audits.
