Do you enjoy envisioning collaborative R&D&i projects? Do you like discussing with RTOs, SMEs and corporates about new tech-based innovations?
At Strata we are looking for R&D&i consortium developers who would like to help us envision, define and develop the best collaborative projects in Europe!
As our R&D&i Partnership developer, you will identify and help develop the most promising research, development and innovation projects in the medtech and biotech areas.
Strata’s team will help you engage with the most innovative start-ups, SMEs as well as global top corporations and RTOs and will support you in offering them our services. We offer you a platform to deliver funding services.
Your duties:
You will be mainly responsible for sourcing and coaching partners across Europe:
- Attract RTOs, SMEs and LEs to our programs leading sourcing, evaluation and value-add of potential partners.
- Monitor and build relationships with partners.
- Review project briefs, call documents and assess project-grant fit to identify potential projects.
- Execute and support due diligence on new investments (diligence meetings, market/data analytics, investment memo, financial model, cap table, legal work…)
- Work with, coach and support our portfolio companies to partner into collaborative projects.
- Create a network of contacts within the European innovation and startup ecosystem.
Your profile:

- Have a deep understanding of the funding landscape especially regarding Horizon Europe, Eureka and international bi-lateral innovation programmes.
- Love connecting people, ideas, businesses.
- Have a customer-centric approach to work.
- Enjoy a strong positive can-do attitude.
- Possess great communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Have 1-4+ years of consulting and business development experience
- Are proud of always working under strict ethics and integrity
- Are fluent in English and your local language
As a point of reference, we are looking for individuals who have successfully completed a degree in Engineering, Management and/or another technological discipline.
You should also have a strong skill set and relevant experience in the field of business development and R&D&i partnerships.
You should be working as a freelance advisor, coach, entrepreneur or investor.
