Real estate Staff Accountant with experience in Appfolio & Realpage

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our real estate properties, handling complex accounting tasks related to property management. Key Responsibilities: Manage financial records for various real estate properties using AppFolio and Realpage. Process vendor invoices, tenant billing, and ensure timely collections. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, and variance reports. Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and property ledgers. Monitor and report on property performance metrics. Support year-end financial audits and prepare necessary documentation. Coordinate with property managers to ensure accurate financial management. Maintain compliance with real estate accounting standards and regulations. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in financial operations. Assist with compliance requirements, tax preparations, and filings. Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience as a Real Estate Accountant Hands-on experience in using Appfolio Hands-on xperience in using Realpage In-depth knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices . Familiarity with GAAP standards is preferred. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience in property management accounting.
