Role Description

The Real Estate Videographer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Nairobi, with a mix of on-site property visits and some work from home. The role involves planning and shooting high-quality video tours of residential and off-plan properties, capturing interior and exterior footage that clearly showcases key features and surrounding areas. The videographer will edit videos into polished, engaging content suitable for digital marketing channels, including social media, websites, and client presentations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating shoot schedules with the advisory team and developers, preparing shot lists, adjusting lighting and camera settings, and ensuring brand-aligned visual storytelling. The role also includes organizing and managing video files, optimizing content for different platforms, and collaborating with marketing and advisory staff to support strategic property positioning.

Qualifications

• Strong videography skills, including camera operation, composition, and lighting for property and lifestyle shoots.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic sound editing.
• Experience creating content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and online marketing campaigns.
• Ability to plan and execute shoot schedules, develop shot lists, and work independently in the field.
• Attention to detail and visual storytelling skills to highlight property features and neighborhood context.
• Reliable access to and familiarity with professional or prosumer video equipment; still photography experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with advisory and marketing teams.
• Strong capability in B-roll editing and fast-paced social sequencing.
• Confidence directing on-set walkthroughs and contributing to visual storytelling.
• Ownership of deadlines and quick post-production turnarounds.
• Drone operation or basic motion graphics skills are a plus.
