Real Property Agent - Remote Interwest Consulting Group was founded in 2002 and has become a leader in providing municipal services to cities and counties throughout the Western United States. We are seeking experienced and motivated Real Property Agent to join our Real Estate Group. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key member of our highly qualified, collaborative, and motivated building inspection team. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Complete all assigned tasks on time and within budget while maintaining high professional standards and client satisfaction. Assist with projects, team performance, and delivering and building solutions. Integral member of the project team responsible for delivering development projects of varying size and complexity. Responsible for managing and executing project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager or Project Director. Update and maintain status reports, databases, file information and diaries accurately and in a timely fashion. Review and understand project maps, engineering designs, title reports, vesting deeds, property profiles, appraisals, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate meetings with property owners, tenants, subconsultants and other stakeholders, as needed. Prepare offer packages, purchase and sale agreements, escrow instructions, relocation notices and calculations. Present offers, negotiate and justify proposed settlements for clients/files. Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the Project Manager and project team. Coordinate project agreements, contracts, receivables, subconsultant deliverables, etc. Track and manage specific tasks pertinent to each project. SKILLS: Demonstrated knowledge of real estate practices and principles. Very experienced with acquisition and relocation documents, notices, processes, and procedures. Experienced in reading and understanding legal descriptions and exhibit maps. Must have strong oral communication and writing skills, and be customer focused. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with others. Demonstrate ability to accurately analyze information and provide advice, solutions, and recommendations on decisions. Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information and for achieving results. Demonstrate a high level of experience planning and organizing workload, adjusting to changing priorities, and working well under pressure with minimal supervision. Must be self-reliant, capable of following map directions to property locations, and able to perform field inspections, as needed. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic database management systems. EDUCATION Graduation from a recognized College or University with a bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience providing real estate and right of way services on infrastructure or housing projects, or 7+ years’ experience with substantial work in providing real estate related services to California agencies. COMPENSATION: $38 - $40 hourly / DOE Benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401k and more.
