Work arrangement: Hybrid; minimum four days per week onsite in the Los Angeles office

Hiring rate: $72,000–$90,000 annualized

The Role

On Location is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support the LA28 Olympics program. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and People & Culture stakeholders to build strong talent pipelines and deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and inclusive hiring experience across a fast-moving, high-visibility project.

The successful candidate will be a relationship-oriented recruiter who can quickly understand business needs, advise hiring managers, source talent creatively, and manage multiple priorities through to completion. This role is based in Los Angeles and requires working from the Los Angeles office at least four days per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a full-cycle recruiting workload of approximately 15–25 requisitions at a time, depending on business needs and role complexity.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify talent needs, develop recruiting plans, and establish realistic timelines and selection processes.
  • Build qualified, diverse candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, networking, professional associations, career fairs, and other creative channels.
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial outreach through offer, providing timely communication and clear next steps throughout the process.
  • Conduct structured candidate assessments and provide thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations for hiring managers.
  • Advise hiring managers on interview design, candidate evaluation, market conditions, and recruiting best practices.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant recruiting activity and candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with the People & Culture Business Partner and other stakeholders as needed to support an effective hiring process.
  • Represent On Location at local career fairs and recruiting events to build awareness and attract talent.
  • Support inclusive sourcing and selection practices and help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen recruiting effectiveness and the candidate experience.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a large, complex, or matrixed organization.
  • Experience proactively building qualified and diverse candidate pipelines for multiple types of roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage deadline-driven priorities and a high volume of work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and independent judgment.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system; Workday experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing or applying inclusive recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • A practical, solutions-oriented approach and a consistent focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Los Angeles office at least four days per week.

Nice to Have

  • Recruiting experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, live events, or another high-growth, project-based environment.
  • A strong network of potential candidates and community or professional relationships in the Los Angeles market.
  • Experience recruiting for large-scale programs, major events, or time-sensitive hiring initiatives.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple geographies or for globally distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Workday recruiting workflows and reporting.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for sports, hospitality, live events, and contemporary culture.

Compensation And Additional Details

Hiring rate: $72,000–$90,000 annualized. The minimum hiring rate will not fall below applicable state and local minimum salary thresholds. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and the applicable contract structure.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum

$63,750 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum

$85,000 annually
