We support a focused portfolio of clients across cybersecurity, AI, enterprise software, GTM services, and other B2B markets. As our client base grows, so does the need to hire high-quality operators quickly, especially BDRs, salespeople, technical operations support, and client-delivery roles.
We’re hiring a Recruiter / People Ops & Onboarding Coordinator to help manage the recruiting workflow across Catalyst and our client delivery needs.
This is a practical, hands-on recruiting role for someone who is organised, commercially aware, comfortable moving quickly, and able to manage candidate pipelines without letting details slip.
You will not be responsible for final hiring decisions.
Your job is to create leverage: source candidates, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, keep the hiring process moving, maintain candidate records, and support the admin required to get new hires onboarded properly.

The immediate hiring priorities include technical operations support, BDR roles, sales-development talent, and future GTM delivery hires. We need someone who can take ownership of the recruiting workflow so senior team members can stay focused on client delivery, GTM infrastructure, onboarding quality, and commercial execution.
This role is about speed, organisation, candidate quality, and follow-through.
What you'll do
You’ll support the full recruiting operations workflow, including:
- Writing, adapting, and posting job adverts from Catalyst templates
- Posting roles on LinkedIn, Breezy, and other relevant hiring channels
- Managing inbound applicants
- Reviewing CVs and applicant profiles
- Running first-pass candidate screening
- Shortlisting candidates for next-stage interviews
- Scheduling interviews with internal stakeholders and client-specific leads
- Maintaining candidate pipelines in the ATS
- Keeping Breezy updated as the recruiting system of record
- Coordinating interview feedback and next steps
- Building and maintaining a bench of future-fit candidates
- Supporting offer logistics and onboarding administration
- Tracking open roles, blockers, candidate status, and hiring priorities
- Helping make the recruiting process more structured and repeatable over time
Roles you may help recruit for
Initial hiring needs may include:
- Business Development Representatives
- Senior BDRs
- Technical operations / tools implementation roles
- CRM / GTM tooling support roles
- Sales and outbound execution roles
- Future internal Catalyst GTM and delivery roles
You do not need to be a technical GTM expert. However, you should be able to understand a role brief, screen for the basics, identify strong signals, and route the right candidates to the right interviewer.
What this role is not
- This is not a corporate HR generalist role.
- It is also not a GTM manager role.
- You will not be expected to train BDRs, manage client delivery, review sales calls, run dashboards, own client outcomes, or lead GTM execution.
- You may support onboarding logistics and candidate handoff, but the focus is recruiting operations, first-pass screening, candidate coordination, and hiring workflow management.

Must have experience
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, people operations, agency recruitment, internal hiring, or a similar role
- Experience screening candidates and managing applicant pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational skills
- Comfort using LinkedIn for candidate review, sourcing, or recruiting activity
- Comfort working with ATS tools or structured candidate trackers
- Ability to schedule, coordinate, and follow up without being chased
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Located in Cape Town, South Africa

- Exposure to onboarding administration, contractor paperwork, or offer coordination
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Slack, Notion, Airtable, or similar tools

Compensation
This is a full-time remote role with a monthly compensation structure.
