About The Company

Our client is an established, high-growth offshore professional services and legal organization focused on connecting North American law firms with top-tier international talent.

The organization combines specialized legal solutions with modern operational frameworks to support continued global expansion, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

They are looking for a highly structured, performance-oriented Recruiting Director who can independently lead internal talent acquisition, optimize global sourcing funnels, enforce screening rigor, and maintain fast placement velocity.

This is an execution-heavy recruitment leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to sourcing mechanics, building efficient screening pipelines, holding recruiters accountable to metrics, and delivering top-tier candidate shortlists.

This is not a generalist HR role. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee full-lifecycle recruitment operations across international hubs (South Africa, LATAM, Philippines), managing everything from sourcing strategy and candidate vetting to ATS hygiene, recruiter capacity, and delivery SLAs.

Role Overview

The Recruiting Director will lead and scale the internal talent acquisition department.

Approximately 80% of the role will focus on direct recruitment execution, team management, pipeline auditing, and sourcing optimization, with approximately 20% focused on recruitment analytics, ATS management, process documentation, and capacity planning.

The ideal candidate can analyze candidate funnels, identify bottlenecks in sourcing or screening, and implement operational solutions to keep time-to-fill low and candidate quality high.

This Includes

  • Managing and coaching a team of international recruiters across multiple regions
  • Overseeing sourcing strategy and talent pipelines across LinkedIn Recruiter, P-Net, and regional job boards
  • Establishing and enforcing recruiter activity targets, submission quotas, and turnaround SLAs
  • Auditing candidate vetting, screening scripts, assessment proctoring, and dossier quality
  • Maintaining ATS data integrity and analyzing recruitment funnel metrics
  • Optimizing candidate experience and maintaining strong brand reputation in target markets

The successful candidate should be comfortable leading from the front, setting high quality standards, troubleshooting pipeline shortages, and managing recruitment operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Operations & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end recruitment execution across all open client and internal requisitions.
  • Maintain strict time-to-fill and candidate submission SLAs without compromising quality.
  • Monitor candidate pipeline movement from initial sourcing to final placement.

Team Leadership & Recruiter Performance

  • Lead, train, and manage a distributed team of recruiters across South Africa, LATAM, and Asia.
  • Set daily/weekly activity targets (outreach volume, screening calls, shortlist submissions).
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and provide hands-on coaching to improve recruiter conversion rates.

Sourcing Strategy & Quality Control

  • Develop regional sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, local job portals (P-Net), and specialized databases.
  • Audit candidate dossiers, interview notes, and skill assessments before client delivery.
  • Continuously refine screening questions and vetting frameworks to align with client specs.

Hard Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of full-lifecycle recruitment experience, with at least 2+ years leading recruitment pods or teams within an agency environment.
  • Deep experience in offshore staffing, legal recruitment, or high-volume professional services hiring.
  • Proven track record of managing recruiter KPIs, submission SLAs, and pipeline metrics.
  • Expertise in modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and talent databases.
  • Strong knowledge of regional talent markets across South Africa, LATAM, and the Philippines.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Tools

Experience with some combination of:

  • Greenhouse, Lever, Bullhorn, or modern ATS platforms
  • LinkedIn Recruiter
  • P-Net and regional job portals
  • Google Workspace & Microsoft Excel
  • Slack, Zoom, and candidate assessment tools

Soft Skills

  • High accountability and metric-driven management style
  • Strong organizational instincts and detail orientation
  • Excellent communication and candidate evaluation skills
  • Proactive problem-solver who can fix pipeline bottlenecks quickly
  • Able to thrive in a high-velocity, target-driven environment

About The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, metric-driven recruitment leader who takes complete ownership of candidate delivery. You understand that recruitment is a funnel exercise requiring equal parts sourcing creativity, vetting discipline, and operational speed.

You know how to motivate recruiters to hit daily outreach targets while holding an uncompromising bar for candidate quality so that clients only see top-tier, fully vetted talent.

Why This Role Matters

A high-growth agency lives and dies by its ability to source, vet, and place elite talent quickly. The Recruiting Director serves as the engine driver for fulfillment, ensuring that candidate pipelines remain full, recruiter capacity is optimized, and client requisitions are filled with speed and precision.
