Recruitment Consultant / Regional Recruitment Lead
Limerick & Mid-West
Join Hartley People Recruitment and play a key role in building our presence across the Limerick and Mid-West region.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys delivering high-quality recruitment solutions while also contributing to the growth of a regional business.
Initially, your primary focus will be recruitment delivery: managing vacancies, sourcing and engaging candidates, supporting clients, and building strong market relationships. As our presence in the region develops, you will have the opportunity to take a more strategic role in growing the Mid-West business, developing client relationships, and helping shape the future direction of our regional operations.
This role offers the support, infrastructure and reputation of an established recruitment business, combined with the autonomy and career progression opportunities typically found in a growing entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
Your core responsibility will be delivering exceptional recruitment services while becoming a visible and trusted representative of Hartley People within the local market.
You will:
- Manage recruitment assignments from initial brief through to successful placement
- Source, screen and engage high-quality candidates across multiple disciplines
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines and talent networks
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and provide market insights
- Present shortlisted candidates and manage interview processes
- Support candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Maintain regular communication with clients and candidates to ensure an exceptional experience
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS systems and sourcing tools effectively
- Work closely with the wider Hartley People recruitment, sourcing and marketing teams
- Develop a strong understanding of the Limerick and Mid-West employment market
- Build relationships within the local business community through networking and client engagement
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of Hartley People's regional presence
As the region develops, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in business development, regional growth initiatives and leadership.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated recruitment professional who combines strong recruitment expertise with commercial awareness and leadership potential.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous agency or in-house recruitment experience
- Strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate engagement skills
- Experience managing recruitment campaigns from start to finish
- Confidence working with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
- Good knowledge of the Limerick and Mid-West employment market
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms and modern recruitment technology
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team
- Commercial awareness and an interest in helping grow a regional recruitment business
- Ambition, initiative and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities in the market
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys recruitment delivery but is also interested in developing a regional market presence and progressing towards future leadership opportunities.
What We Offer
You'll receive the backing of an established and respected recruitment business while enjoying the autonomy to develop your own regional network and presence.
Benefits include:
- The support of an experienced recruitment leadership team
- Existing clients, live vacancies and an established candidate database
- Dedicated sourcing and marketing support
- Access to premium recruitment technology and tools
- Full operational and administrative support
- Autonomy to manage and grow your desk
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
- Competitive salary and commission structure
- Company pension
- Long-term career progression opportunities
- The chance to help shape and grow our Mid-West presence
- Potential future leadership opportunities as the regional business expands
