The Role

Your research will help grow the Australian and international non-profit and social impact sector by supporting our busy international desk. You will support the recruitment of a diverse range of international development, humanitarian climate, sustainability, and environment candidates for international non-profit and mission-driven organisations across Asia Pac and globally. Your tasks will include:

• Attending job briefings with Australian and international clients.
• Talent Sourcing: Search professional networks, databases, and Boolean channels to identify top candidates.
• Headhunting: Proactively contact passive job candidates via phone, email, and social platforms.
• Candidate Screening: Review resumes, assess core competencies, and conduct initial phone screens as required.
• Market Mapping: Analyse competitor organizational structures, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate data records and candidate notes.

Skills Required

You are a highly organised recruitment researcher with a background focused on, or experience in, the international development, humanitarian, climate, environment or closely related fields. You have experience supporting recruitment or sourcing and you are detail orientated with strong administrative skills. You bring strong communication abilities, the ability to engage candidates, and a collaborative and values-based approach to supporting a team in a fast-paced service delivery environment. Previous experience in and/or understanding of the Asia Pacific region and NFP sector will be highly regarded. Additionally, you demonstrate:

• Ability to understand and interpret technical skill requirements.
• Capacity to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• High level of energy, engagement, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.
• Experience with CRM databases, MS Office, AI, and social networking including LinkedIn.
• Importantly your values will be aligned to the work of the important organisations we support.
