Redaction Coordinator - Hybrid

Job Summary for Redaction Coordinator – Business Operations, AZDCS (Phoenix, AZ)

- Review and process cases involving child abuse and neglect for redaction purposes.
- Research case files to prepare and release redacted copies to requestors, maintaining a daily volume of 450–900 pages reviewed.
- Ensure accuracy of redactions, meeting a minimum accuracy rate of 98%.
- Identify and redact the following primary types of sensitive information:
- Source information
- Attorney-client privileged data
- Department of Public Safety (DPS) results
- Social Security Numbers
- Child placement details
- Perform work that is consistent, standardized, and repetitious.
- Utilize basic computer skills and work with Adobe and SharePoint software.
- Support the Centralized Records Coordination Unit (CRCU) under the Field Support Services Administration (FSSA) within the Department of Child Safety (DCS).
- Adhere to legal requirements for redaction and provide redacted records to authorized individuals.
- Work in a hybrid environment, with standard weekday hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
