Referral Network Coordinator

Full-Time | Remote | Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required

We Free People the Government Is Trying to Deport.

Since 2010, we've defended families against ICE, doing everything legally possible to keep families together in the United States.

Most of these families find us through a referral from someone they trust.

Those referrals change lives.

We're building the strongest referral network in immigration law, and we're looking for someone to build it with us.

This isn't an administrative coordination role.

You'll create relationships that don't exist yet. You'll strengthen the ones that do. You'll influence where we invest, which relationships we prioritize, and how many families find us before it's too late.

If you want ownership, measurable impact, and work that genuinely matters, keep reading.

About Us

Raleigh Immigration Law Firm focuses exclusively on deportation defense.

Our mission is simple:

We fight deportation and keep families together.

We believe that hard work and a kind soul matter more than place of birth.

Families trust us during the most difficult moments of their lives, and we earn that trust through honesty, creativity, and relentless advocacy.

We believe in taking ownership, solving problems before they become crises, and constantly improving how we serve our community.

Why This Role Matters

Referrals are the primary way families discover our firm.

As our Referral Network Coordinator, you'll build and strengthen the relationships that connect people with the legal help they urgently need.

Your success will:

  • Increase access to life-changing legal representation for families.
  • Strengthen our referral network across attorneys, former clients, consulates, and community partners.
  • Generate sustainable business growth.
  • Provide leadership with the insights needed to invest in the highest-performing referral channels.

This role has a direct impact on both our mission and our long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and Grow Referral Relationships

  • Own referral volume and referral quality across all assigned channels.
  • Identify new referral opportunities, including attorney segments, former clients, consulates, and organizations we may not yet be working with.
  • Build relationships with attorneys that lead to long-term referral agreements.
  • Develop and expand referral relationships with consulates through strategic outreach.

Lead Referral Growth Strategy

  • Work alongside the Owner and Community Outreach Manager to prioritize referral investments.
  • Recommend where time, effort, and resources should be focused based on measurable performance.
  • Identify high-impact conferences, panels, networking events, and other opportunities that strengthen referral growth.

Drive Former Client Reactivation

  • Design and execute outreach campaigns for former clients.
  • Segment audiences, build communication sequences, and measure campaign performance.
  • Continuously improve reactivation strategies based on outcomes.

Measure Performance

  • Track referral volume, conversion rates, pipeline development, and referral partner retention.
  • Analyze results and recommend improvements rather than simply reporting activity.
  • Take ownership of performance against agreed growth targets.

What Success Looks Like:

Within Your First 30 Days

  • Understand our referral ecosystem, untapped opportunities, and reporting processes.
  • Strengthen existing relationships with attorneys and referral channels.
  • Develop a structured plan for referral growth.

Within 60 Days

  • Launch outreach to priority attorney and consulate prospects.
  • Begin former client reactivation campaigns.
  • Establish reporting rhythms with leadership.

Within 90 Days

  • Increase qualified referral opportunities toward agreed ramp targets.
  • Build measurable momentum across multiple referral channels.
  • Demonstrate ownership through proactive recommendations and data-driven decisions.

Within 12 Months

  • Successfully scale referral growth across attorney relationships, former clients, consulates, and strategic events.
  • Deliver sustained improvements in referral quality, pipeline health, and business impact.
  • Become the firm's recognized expert for referral growth strategy.

Performance Metrics:

Current Baseline

Approximately 35-45 referral SQLs per month (combined attorney referrals and former-client referrals).

Month 1 Success Metrics

Your first month is about building the foundation for long-term referral growth while creating measurable momentum.

By the end of your first 30 days, you should have:

  • Referral Growth Plan: Deliver and present a 90-day referral growth plan outlining priorities, target channels, milestones, and expected outcomes.
  • Operating Plan: Establish a weekly outreach and relationship-building plan with clear priorities and accountability.
  • Attorney Pipeline: Complete a prioritized target list of referral attorneys and begin proactive outreach.
  • Consulate Outreach: Build a priority consulate target list, contact at least 20 priority consulates (or the agreed target list), and establish relationships with at least 5 that have the potential to become ongoing referral partners.
  • Former Client Reactivation: Launch the initial former-client reactivation campaign with tracking and reporting in place.
  • Reporting: Implement a KPI dashboard and establish a regular reporting cadence with leadership.
  • Pipeline Growth: Demonstrate measurable referral pipeline growth and early momentum across multiple referral channels, even if SQL targets have not yet reached full ramp.

Target Progression

Months 3–5

  • 40–45 referral SQLs per month
  • 10 attorney referral agreements finalized.
  • Former-client reactivation program launched and generating referrals.
  • Consulate outreach producing an active referral pipeline.

Months 6–10

  • 55–65 referral SQLs per month
  • New relationships generating measurable referrals.
  • New channels (events, networking, etc.) contributing qualified referral opportunities.
  • Multiple referral channels producing consistent results

Months 10–12

Performance targets will be reviewed and refined based on proven channel performance, referral quality, and ROI.

Supporting Performance Metrics

Performance will also be measured by:

  • Referral agreement conversion rate
  • Active referral partners
  • Attorney retention rate
  • Consulate relationships established
  • Referrals generated through consulate partnerships
  • Former-client reactivation campaign performance
  • Event-generated referrals
  • Total referral revenue

Required Qualifications:

Required

  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience building or significantly growing referral, partnership, or lead-generation channels.
  • Experience developing business relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and improve results.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.

Preferred

  • Experience working with attorneys, legal services, immigration organizations, or similar professional networks.
  • Experience establishing institutional partnerships through cold outreach.

Skills:

Technical Skills

  • CRM or referral tracking systems
  • Reporting and KPI analysis
  • Pipeline management
  • Outreach campaign management

Communication Skills

  • Relationship building
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication
  • Professional networking
  • Cross-cultural communication

Soft Skills

  • Initiative
  • Curiosity
  • Accountability
  • Organization
  • Adaptability
  • Resilience
  • Strategic thinking
  • Problem solving

This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If...

  • You focus primarily on completing activities instead of achieving measurable outcomes.
  • You need frequent reminders to manage priorities or follow through on commitments.
  • You're uncomfortable being held accountable for performance metrics.

What We Offer

  • Mission-driven work – Your efforts help families access legal representation during life-changing moments.
  • Meaningful ownership – You'll have real influence over referral strategy, not simply execute someone else's plan.
  • Direct access to leadership – Collaborate closely with the Owner and Community Outreach Manager on strategic decisions.
  • Remote flexibility – Work remotely while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team.
  • Opportunity to build something lasting – You'll build systems and relationships that continue delivering impact long after they're launched.

Why Join Us

Every referral you generate creates an opportunity for someone facing deportation to find experienced legal representation before it's too late.

You'll build one of the firm's most important growth engines from the ground up, creating partnerships that help more families find us when they need us most.

If you're motivated by ownership, growth, measurable impact, and a sense of purpose, you'll find plenty of opportunities for challenge and fulfillment here.

Ready to Apply?

Email your resume and answer the following question in the body of your email:

Tell us about a lead-generation, partnership, or referral channel you've built or significantly grown.

If you haven't built one directly, explain how your experience has prepared you for this role and how you would approach building our referral network based on what you can learn about Raleigh Immigration Law Firm through your own research.
