2. About the Opportunity:

The Regional Manager- Southwest Region — Arizona & Texas Priority Markets is responsible for overseeing major markets in the Southwest, specifically focusing on Arizona and Texas. This role ensures market performance by balancing supply and demand, managing relationships with key service providers, and driving operational improvements. The position combines strategic analysis and execution to enhance market health and meet key performance indicators, making it essential for regional growth and effectiveness.


3. Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply and demand balance across Southwest regions to address coverage gaps and increase server capacity.
  • Identify and diagnose market performance issues proactively.
  • Maintain relationships with highest-volume service providers as the primary local contact.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as incident response lead for regional operational disruptions.
  • Execute marketplace pilots and collaborate with project managers to track outcomes.
  • Manage regional incentive spending within budget and report on program performance.
  • Monitor and report on regional service level objective attainment and market health.
  • Directly manage W2 employees, including time card approval and performance reviews.
  • Communicate learnings to refine and scale operational processes across markets.


4. Requirements:

  • Experience managing a local market or region in a marketplace, gig, or field operations, especially in underperforming markets.
  • Proactive data collection and analysis skills combined with on-the-ground judgment.
  • Experience managing W2 employees, including administrative and coaching responsibilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with project managers on market initiatives.
  • Demonstrated coaching and direct report management.
  • Willingness to be physically present in the Arizona or Texas markets.
  • Strong communication skills for providing actionable market insights.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience running structured pilots with measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency with SQL or dashboard tools such as Metabase, Looker.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools like Jira and communication platforms like Intercom.
  • Ability to develop processes in ambiguous, evolving environments.
  • Experience coaching contract or hourly employees.


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
