Your role: We are in business to save our home planet. This role leads the planning, execution, and growth of all regional marketing and environmental efforts and impact within the assigned territory. The role ensures that all communications and activations are implemented in alignment with the Patagonia EMEA business strategy. The position acts as the key liaison between EMEA strategy and regional implementation, working closely together with the local wholesale teams ensuring that Brand Marketing, Wholesale Marketing, and Environmental Activism are delivered to the required standard. Main tasks: Regional strategy translation : Develop locally relevant marketing and environmental plans by aligning with EMEA-wide strategic direction and collaborating with the regional managers, country managers, sales teams, and EHQ stakeholders. Ensure that campaigns reflect the cultural, environmental, and commercial context of the region and contribute to Patagonia’s mission. Team leadership: Lead, manage, and develop an engaged and high-performing team through clear priorities and goals, feedback, and regular coaching, to nurture leadership, enable professional development, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, drive clear accountability, and deliver goals. Partner with line manager to plan resources and budget allocations, to align with long range EMEA strategy and objectives and scale our work and impact. Budget ownership and execution : Oversee regional budgets across Brand Activation, Wholesale Marketing, Marketing Contribution, Seeding, and POP. Ensure accurate forecasting, timely execution, and strategic allocation of resources to maximize impact and maintain financial accountability. Environmental and community engagement: Lead regional environmental initiatives in collaboration with the EHQ Enviro team and local NGOs, applying Patagonia’s environmental engagement guidelines. Manage the 1% for the Planet granting process and contribute to building strong B Corp networks and activist communities. Media, PR and communications coordination: Plan and validate regional paid media, PR, and digital activations in collaboration with EHQ and local agencies. Ensure all outputs reflect Patagonia’s tone, values, and strategic priorities and are executed to the highest standard. What we’re looking for: Advanced expertise in strategic Marketing & Impact planning and execution to translate EMEA-wide strategies into locally relevant plans that drive brand, environmental, and commercial impact across diverse regional contexts. Full expertise in team leadership and development to manage and mentor a geographically distributed team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-quality execution. Full expertise in budget management and resource allocation to oversee complex budgets and ensure strategic use of funds across marketing and environmental initiatives. Full expertise in environmental programming to lead regional environmental strategy and NGO engagement with integrity, clarity, and alignment to Patagonia’s mission and impact framework. Full expertise in media and communications coordination to manage paid media, PR, and digital activations through strong collaboration with EHQ and local partners, ensuring consistency and quality across all outputs.
