Job Description Regional Special Projects Specialist Remote $60,000 to $70,000 DOE Position Summary Operate under the direction of Human Resources to coordinate regional training, culture, and engagement initiatives. Ensure regional execution aligns with enterprise HR strategy, policies, and standards while remaining operationally feasible. Serve as an HR liaison to regional operations leadership, driving consistency, accountability, and follow-through while identifying and escalating risks or barriers. Regional Training Coordination Coordinate regional training programs for leaders and support staff, including onboarding, compliance, refresher, and leadership development training. Partner with training teams, clinical educators, and operations leaders to schedule and deliver training aligned with staffing and operational needs. Manage logistics for in-person, virtual, and blended training, including locations, instructors, rosters, materials, and documentation. Maintain regional training calendars and track attendance, completion, and recurring training requirements. Ensure accurate training records for audit, regulatory, and contractual compliance. Project Management & Special Initiatives Lead training-related projects, including new protocols, equipment rollouts, leadership programs, and enterprise initiatives. Coordinate pilot programs and phased implementations across multiple locations. Monitor timelines, dependencies, and risks, escalating issues when needed. Reporting & Communication Develop training reports and dashboards, including participation, completion rates, and trends. Provide updates to regional leadership, HR, and corporate stakeholders. Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions. Stakeholder Partnership Serve as the primary contact for regional leaders regarding training schedules, requirements, and completion status. Culture & Engagement Implement culture and engagement initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy. Coordinate employee recognition programs, engagement activities, and culture-building events. Reinforce organizational values through leader resources, communication, and field-based activities. Conduct site visits, town halls, and team meetings to gather feedback and identify engagement risks. Share frontline insights with HR and operational leadership to support continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve training coordination, scheduling efficiency, reporting accuracy, and standardized processes. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, HR operations, training administration, or a related field. Experience supporting multi-site, shift-based, or operationally complex environments. Proficiency with Excel, HRIS, and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in EMS, healthcare, public safety, or other regulated environments. Familiarity with EMT/Paramedic training cycles, field operations, or clinical education. Experience supporting compliance-driven training programs and audit requirements. Ability to prepare reports for executive and operational leadership.
