Girl Guides of Canada is actively seeking a Regional Projects Administrative Assistant Remote working opportunity About This Opportunity Reporting to the Regional Manager, ON/QC, in this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day regional business operations in Ontario, Nunavut and Quebec. As an Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with staff, volunteers, and members to support a variety of provincial projects and challenges and administrative processes. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and provide outstanding customer service will help ensure a positive experience for everyone you support while contributing to the success of Girl Guides of Canada's mission. In this role you will: Provide support to provincial led challenges by assisting the Provincial Projects Coordinator or volunteer teams with project logistics, communications and support as requested. Provide support for multiple subsidy processes including uniform, first aid subsidies. Support the processing and management of financial transactions including but not limited to Purchase Cards, transfers and expense reconciliation. Provide administrative support to various projects including but not limited to; awards (both adult and youth), membership pins, and volunteer membership renewal process. Provide ongoing support to members by monitoring, filing and assigning tasks across multiple email inboxes. Understand how to apply organizational policies regarding inclusivity to provincial projects, communication, and customer queries. Apply organizational policies regarding inclusivity to content, member communication and customer service. General: Adheres to all relevant policies, procedures, and practices. Provide general, ongoing support to members/volunteers, responding to/directing inquiries and consulting with the appropriate groups and individuals to support the mission and vision of GGC. Apply organizational policies regarding diversity, inclusivity and equity to content, member communication and customer service. Other duties as assigned. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and activities required of the position.  Requirements: Related degree or diploma (Business Administration, Event Management, Volunteer Management) or equivalent work experience. 1-2 years’ experience working in an office environment. Demonstrated computer software proficiency with MS Office; Office 365 and intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, OneNote and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. High accuracy and attention to detail required for data entry, allowing for low error rate and speed. Ability to set priorities, manage time and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate Flexible to travel as required. Starting Annual Salary: $41,300 Application Deadline: October 15, 2026. Submissions without a cover letter will not be considered.
