Summary

As Regional Sales Manager for the Mountain West, you'll lead and inspire a team of Community Sales Representatives and Community Support Leaders across eight states, helping communities grow and families thrive. You'll recruit and develop gifted field leaders, champion Classical Conversations to families, churches, and communities, and set an optimistic, energizing tone across your region. Pay Rate: $39,000 plus commission
Reports to: VP of Domestic Sales
Department: Sales
Location: Remote – must reside within the assigned territory (ID, MT, WY, NV, UT, CO, AZ, or NM)
Travel: Moderate travel, up to 12 weeks annually for meetings, conferences, training, and regional events
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods (up to 8 hours daily). Color vision is required for reviewing charts, graphs, and visual presentations. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment
This is a remote position based within the assigned Mountain West territory. A climate-controlled workspace with reliable high-speed internet is required. The role involves frequent interaction with field leaders, families, and internal teams, along with moderate travel of up to 12 weeks annually for meetings, conferences, training, and regional events.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of sales management experience with demonstrated success in growth
- 2+ years of previous experience as a Classical Conversations field leader
- Proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate proficiency with CRM software, specifically HubSpot
- Ability to analyze and interpret data reports for territory performance
- Ability to apply budgeting and general accounting principles to manage a regional budget
- Regional Growth: Drive measurable growth in students, programs, and communities across the Mountain West while strengthening retention and progression goals for your territory.
- Team Inspiration: Energize and coach Community Sales Representatives and Community Support Leaders through team calls and one-on-one conversations that build confidence and results.
- Talent Development: Identify, recruit, interview, and finalize the right people in the right seats, building a field team that reflects CC's heart and mission.
- Every Lead Connected: Ensure 100% of leads are contacted promptly, so every family who reaches out feels welcomed and valued.
- Relational Stewardship: Resolve community conflicts with grace, finding solutions that keep families connected while upholding CC's structure, content, and pedagogy.
- Championing the Mission: Advocate for Classical Conversations with families, churches, and communities, sharing the value of classical Christian education with enthusiasm and conviction.
- Strategic Territory Leadership: Develop and execute growth plans for your region, managing sales, revenue, expenses, and profits with a keen eye on the big picture.
- Responsive Communication: Stay connected to your team within 24 business hours and to internal CC communications within 24–48 business hours, keeping momentum strong.
- Budget Stewardship: Keep territory expenses within 5% of the approved annual budget while maximizing impact.
- Visible Presence: Represent and support your territory at regional and Home Office sponsored events, building relationships that last.
