We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our team in the Gulf Region. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers across the region. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of the Central Region and drive sales and growth across GA, AL, and MS. The RSM will partner with senior-level distributor networks, cultivate strategic account relationships, and lead brand strategy and budget management to maximize revenue, expand market share, and elevate brand visibility. The role will also collaborate with the Strategic Accounts team to drive execution and foster growth across both on-premise and off-premise channels. Develop annual sales strategy, planning, and execution, including pricing, focus markets, and KPIs. Own region and key customer P&L. Execute and evaluate all Strategic Account programs. Proactively analyze business and brand performance and report findings to the VP. Own relationships and lead Local Key Account and Customer Meetings. Own wholesaler relationships and management at the senior level, including VP Wine, EVP, and local customer account teams. Lead and prepare monthly and quarterly reviews, utilizing O'Neill Scorecards. Manage market work such as GSMs, surveys, blitzes, account visits, and work-withs. Execute, measure, and evaluate National and Local programs and initiatives. Education and Experience Minimum of 5 years of industry or sales experience in a consumer products environment; large state or multi-state management experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Previous ownership of revenue, A&P spend, and budgets. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with on-premise and off-premise business and the three-tier system. Valid state driver's license. Skills and Attributes Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, accounts, and internal stakeholders. Strong command of pricing structures. Highly skilled negotiator with distributors and key accounts. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and demonstrated excellence in building PowerPoint presentations. Excellent written, oral, and listening skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and complete assignments accurately and on time. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: Requires frequent travel by air and auto to visit accounts and markets Extensive computer usage for administrative work Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion Perform some repetitive motion activities. Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. May need to determine the color, smell, and taste of wine using eyes, nose, and tongue. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a remote position that requires working from a home office. Frequent travel to customer sites is required. Travel will be 40%. California Pay Transparency Notice : This position is classified as exempt. The base compensation range for this role is $115,000 to $140,000. Candidates are generally not hired at or near the maximum of the base compensation range. Final salary placement will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, education, relevant experience, and alignment with current market data. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus.
