Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually Location: Ohio (remote-based; travel required within the Northeast and Midwest regions) Pay Rate: $80,000 – $95,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based incentives tied to regional revenue and business development targets Overview Sitemetric is seeking a resourceful, business-minded security and operations leader to guide our presence across the Northeast Region. The Regional Security Leader (RSL) combines hands-on regional operational leadership with deep security subject-matter authority, giving one leader end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of client sites — their staffing, service delivery, compliance, and growth. This role carries direct oversight of 5–12 client projects, with an expanded security compliance and quality responsibility spanning both the Northeast region and our Midwest region. Reporting to the Regional Director of Site Operations, this position ensures consistent, high-quality delivery of Sitemetric's security and site operations services while driving compliance, operational readiness, team development, and regional revenue growth. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, hands-on leader who can run a multi-site portfolio like a business, build trust with clients at every level, resolve challenges quickly, and identify new opportunities for Sitemetric to grow within the region. About the Role As the Regional Security Leader – Northeast Region , you will own a portfolio of roughly 5–12 client projects (up to approximately 250 Access Control Officers and site security personnel) across Ohio and neighboring states within the Northeast and Midwest regions, within an approximate 220–330 mile operating radius. You are accountable for both the operational success of every site in your portfolio and its full compliance with Sitemetric's policies, state licensing requirements, and client contractual obligations. Your leadership will be vital in developing site and field leaders, maintaining operational excellence, evaluating performance, managing regional profitability, and coordinating closely with clients and other departments — including Safety, Operations, and Technology — to deliver integrated, technology-driven site security. You will also be expected to actively grow the region: identifying upsell and expansion opportunities and representing Sitemetric's security capabilities in new client engagements. This role is remote-based in Ohio and includes regular travel to projects and client facilities (approximately 50–75% of the time). Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of approximately 5–12 client project sites within the Northeast and Midwest regions, encompassing up to ~250 Access Control Officers and other site security personnel. Lead project start-ups and stabilizations for new client sites, ensuring smooth mobilization and onboarding of security services and staff. Coach, develop, and manage the performance of Site Security Coordinators, Site Logistics Leaders, Shift Leaders, and Access Control Officers. Own regional staffing plans, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet client and operational needs. Security Management Serve as Sitemetric's Qualified Manager/Agent/Principal for private security licensing, and maintain compliance with all state-mandated licensing responsibilities and requirements. Act as the region's subject-matter expert on private security operations, risk management, and state licensing/compliance requirements, supporting fellow Regional Leaders. Conduct regular site audits, security drills, and risk assessments; lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions when required. Track incident trends, reporting metrics, and performance indicators to identify improvements; ensure adherence to Sitemetric's policies, procedures, and SOPs. Develop site-specific post orders, Standard Operating Procedures, communications plans, risk mitigation plans, vulnerability assessments, and overall security procedures. Serve as the key liaison between field operations and the corporate Security & Safety team, promoting communication and operational consistency between field sites and corporate. Cross-Functional Integration Partner with fellow Regional Leaders and with Safety, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure integrated, technology-driven site security and consistent standards across regions. Support company-wide security and safety initiatives, process rollouts, and standardization efforts. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and support for safety and access control protocols. Customer & Business Development Serve as the primary regional point of contact for clients on security matters, resolving issues quickly and ensuring service satisfaction. Work closely with our sales teams and customers as they develop their Site Specific Security Plans, providing security assessment and guidance at client kick-off meetings and advising on Sitemetric's products and services that support their plan. Own regional revenue growth targets tied to security services; proactively identify and pursue new security business, contract expansion, and security upsell opportunities — targeting at least one new security business win or expansion opportunity per quarter. Build and maintain trusted, executive-level relationships with client stakeholders across the region. Leadership & Development Design and deliver job-specific training for employees performing security services; integrate security training into new employee onboarding. Support onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives for site security staff. Manage the regional budget and billable utilization, meeting KPI scorecard targets spanning audit performance, customer satisfaction (90%+), safety, and revenue growth. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and high-priority client issues as required. Uphold Sitemetric's customer service and professionalism standards at all times. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of progressive experience in security management, law enforcement, or private security operations; construction or industrial experience strongly preferred. 2+ years in a security leadership role overseeing multi-site or regional security operations. Strong knowledge of Ohio state security regulations and licensing requirements required. Demonstrated success leading multi-site or regional security teams, including budget accountability. Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to build trust and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal partners at all levels, including driving security-related business growth through those relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and incident management or scheduling platforms. Ability to travel regularly within the region (50–75%) and respond to urgent site needs. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Must pass pre-employment background screening and drug test. Must meet Ohio's Qualifying Agent (QA) requirements and complete and pass any required trainings and exams for certification. Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications in training, security, project management, or compliance (e.g., CPTM, CPP, PMP). Previous Ohio Qualified Manager / Security Agent licensing experience; security licensing or regulatory experience in other Northeast or Midwest states within the region is a strong plus. Experience in the construction, law enforcement, or physical security industries. Knowledge of access control, incident reporting, and electronic security systems. Demonstrated ability to manage regional budgets, billable utilization, and operational reporting in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and jobsite upon which work is being performed, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience.
