PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Regional Service Line Principal/Managing Principal leads a team of professionals within their field of expertise, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery. This role performs technical fieldwork, manages team assignments and quality control, and develops and implements policies and procedures. The Service Line Principal – Manager promotes EFI Global’s capabilities, supports business growth, represents the firm with clients and industry partners, and serves as an expert witness. Additionally, this role balances field and office responsibilities, maintains billable expectations, and collaborates with national forensic experts to drive operational excellence and professional development across the service line

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs technical fieldwork related to their field of expertise and reporting as required by company policy and industry standards.

· Mentors professional staff in field of expertise, overseeing the professional development of professional staff in field of expertise and provides input and suggestions for training initiatives of employees in field of expertise.

· Provides guidance in policy/procedure development and implementation.

· Promotes EFI Global capabilities to expand business opportunities with clients and by working alongside EFI’s sales and marketing teams at local and national events and teaching continuing education sessions for clients and colleagues.

· Represents EFI Global in meetings and other forums with clients within government, public service, or private sector organizations.

· Assigns engineers to client losses in the assigned area of responsibility, manages quality control, and team utilization.

· Provides guidance and leadership on complex losses.

· Implements environmental and engineering strategies within the assigned team.

· Collaborates with other service lines to produce detailed work products.

· Serves as an expert witness in court and/or in depositions.

· Collaborates with EFI's national team to leverage experiences, expand business opportunities, and assist on projects.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Travels as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

· Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Advanced degree

preferred.

Experience

Twelve (12) years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

Skills & Knowledge

· Must have knowledge of or demonstrate experience with project management.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

· PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

· Analytical and interpretive skills.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Proven management/leadership skills.

· Excellent negotiating skills.

· Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports.

· Be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds

· Be able to drive up to 4 hours per day.
