As an RN, you’ll have the independence to manage your patients and schedule, without giving up the support of a strong team.

Join our Paul Revere team
Most visits will be in Jamaica Plain and Roxbury/Mission Hill, with additional coverage in Dorchester.

You’ll work with a diverse urban patient population and provide care where patients live every day.

You have independence, but you’re never on your own.
•A schedule that works for you: Full-time, Monday–Friday with no evenings, 5–6 visits per day, and the autonomy to manage your own schedule and appointments.
•Convenient territory: In some areas, you can walk between visits, and the territory is close to the hospital for convenient lab drop-offs. City parking passes are provided for new team members.
•Dedicated Admission RN support: Dedicated Admission Registered Nurses support new patients coming into the service line and help establish their plan of care, allowing you to focus more of your time on ongoing patient visits.
•Ancillary support services: Scheduling coordinators, liaisons, and other support services help with the administrative and coordination needs of care, allowing you to spend more time focused on your patients.
•Strong team culture: Work alongside a collaborative team that values communication, teamwork, and supporting one another. Weekly interdisciplinary pod meetings, monthly team meetings, and quarterly in-person team days help keep the team connected.
•Support to grow: Ongoing training, education, and opportunities to collaborate across disciplines.

Home care can be a big transition, especially if you’re coming from a hospital or other clinical setting. Our onboarding is designed to help you feel prepared and confident working independently in the community. You’ll also have ongoing opportunities for training, education, and professional development.

Your time matters, too
Your schedule includes dedicated time for documentation, chart review, and care coordination. Our MGB electronic documentation system gives you easy access to doctors’ notes and orders, helping make communication and care coordination more seamless.

Your safety matters
We provide safety resources to support you in the field, including:
•GPS-enabled safety tools
•Real-time alert features
•Security-supported key fob access

What you’ll do
As an RN, you’ll oversee the patient’s plan of care and work closely with an interdisciplinary team.
•Complete patient assessments and admissions
•Develop and manage individualized care plans
•Provide skilled nursing care, education, and treatment
•Coordinate care with patients, families, and providers
•Document care and review charts
•Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
•Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care


Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • At least one year of acute care nursing experience (home care experience preferred)
  • Comfort working with various computer systems; experience with handheld clinical devices preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
