🚀 We are hiring: Regular Java Developer + AI (Hybrid - Bucharest) | Luxoft

Are you a Java Developer eager to step into the world of Generative AI, RAG architectures, and LLM Agents? We are looking for a Senior / Regular Software Engineer to join our Surveillance and Regulatory Technology team!

You will be part of a team launching brand-new AI initiatives, integrating cognitive capabilities and machine learning into financial security systems (fraud detection, real-time sanction filtering, and regulatory compliance).

💼 What you will do:

• AI & LLM Integration: Build LLM-based solutions, implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and build agentic workflows.
• Backend Microservices: Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable enterprise microservices within a global, distributed team.
• End-to-End Delivery: Participate in the full SDLC — from technical architecture design to clean code execution, automated testing (TDD/BDD), and deployment.
• Modern Engineering: Drive quality through modern CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and data streaming platforms.

🎯 What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Core Backend: Strong background in Java (17/21) and Spring Boot (candidates with strong enterprise Python experience willing to work in a hybrid stack are also welcome!).
• Generative AI Exposure: Understanding or hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, Spring AI, or Python AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Messaging & Cloud: Experience with streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, IBM MQ) and cloud/container techs (GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• DevOps & Testing: Familiarity with TDD/BDD practices and tools like Maven, Gradle, Git, and Jenkins/TeamCity.
