We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh Re. This role will be based in New York, Philadelphia or Edina, MN. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role is responsible for managing complex portfolios, including processing all technical transactions related to excess loss, pro rata, or facultative reinsurance, such as coverage assessment, premium and loss transactions, and cash disbursements. Additionally, provide guidance and training to less experienced colleagues and perform leadership and business support duties as assigned by the team or department manager.

We will count on you to:

• Manage assigned client portfolio, including timely follow-up, accurate system entry of client activity, and securing reinsurance premiums.
• Collaborate with other departments to support collection efforts and cash application processes as needed.
• Oversee timely settlement of funds to and from clients, ensuring compliance with all payment warranties and conditions.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide detailed client-specific accounting and claims information to support sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets by understanding their needs and resolving issues effectively; actively participate in team meetings to share knowledge and contribute to outcomes.

What you need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in excess of loss and/or pro rata reinsurance and accounting, along with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or risk management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, consistently promoting and enhancing the Marsh Re brand.

Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,700 to $162,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
