Shana Nelson State Farm is hiring a Remote Account Associate in San Jose, CA for a sales role with real meaning — real conversations about coverage, trust earned quickly, and sales that genuinely help the people on the other side of the table.

Responsibilities

• Develop a steady pipeline through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups
• Participate in ongoing product and sales training.
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals

Qualifications

• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• At least two years of experience working in a State Farm agency.
• Must hold active Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses; unlicensed applications cannot be considered
• Must be able to keep California (Pacific Time) working hours
• Must currently reside in California, Oregon, Nevada, or Arizona.
• Currently employed by a State Farm agency or recently left a State Farm agency role.
• Previous sales experience required.

Pay range: $50,000-$85,000 per year

This range reflects expected total compensation—including base salary, commissions, and bonuses—when performance goals are met. Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range.
