Position Overview
We are seeking an AI & Automation Solutions Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve the technology that powers our business.
This is not a traditional software engineering role. Rather than spending months writing custom applications from scratch, you'll leverage today's AI technologies, automation platforms, APIs, and low-code tools to rapidly create websites, dashboards, workflows, internal applications, and connected business systems.
You'll work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges, rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions, and implement scalable automations that eliminate manual work, improve efficiency, and support business growth.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical mindset, understands programming concepts, enjoys solving business problems, and sees AI as a force multiplier for productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-powered business solutions using modern AI development platforms.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to eliminate manual work through automation and AI.
- Rapidly prototype new AI solutions and iterate based on business feedback.
- Build and maintain websites, landing pages, internal portals, and web applications using AI-assisted development tools.
- Design and implement automated workflows using platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n, and similar technologies.
- Integrate CRM systems, communication platforms, business software, and third-party applications through APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
- Develop executive dashboards, reporting systems, and business intelligence solutions.
- Build AI-powered workflows for customer support, document processing, lead management, and internal operations.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
- Document systems, automations, and technical processes to support long-term maintenance and scalability.
- Collaborate with leadership, operations, sales, and lending teams to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Own automation initiatives from concept through implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, automation platforms, and industry best practices, proactively recommending innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Technical background in software development, systems integration, automation, computer science, information technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to design, build, or automate real business processes that improved efficiency, scalability, or productivity.
- Comfortable reading and writing code when necessary (primarily for APIs, scripting, and integrations), while using AI and low-code platforms to accelerate development.
- Experience integrating software platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
- Experience building dashboards, reporting systems, websites, internal tools, or business applications.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, AI platforms, and business software.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
