We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced psychiatrists with native Malay fluency, advanced English proficiency, and strong expertise in psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, case documentation, and culturally informed mental-health practice to contribute to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives.
Selected professionals will develop and evaluate complex psychiatric cases, review AI-generated reasoning in mental-health contexts, create bilingual psychiatric materials, and provide expert feedback grounded in clinical practice, cultural sensitivity, and ethical standards. No prior AI experience is required; psychiatric expertise and bilingual communication are the primary qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Psychiatric Case Development & Evaluation
- Develop realistic and complex psychiatric case studies
- Evaluate cases for clinical accuracy and completeness
- Apply professional judgement to diagnostic and treatment-related scenarios
- Identify weak, incomplete, or inappropriate psychiatric reasoning
- Incorporate culturally relevant Malay context into case development
Psychiatric Assessment & Expert Annotation
- Review psychological and psychiatric assessment materials
- Provide expert annotations grounded in professional psychiatric practice
- Evaluate symptoms, behavioural patterns, and relevant clinical context
- Assess whether psychiatric interpretations are appropriately supported
- Apply knowledge of Malay clinical settings and patient populations
Bilingual Clinical Communication
- Produce clear written analyses in Malay and English
- Develop bilingual frameworks for psychiatric information exchange
- Preserve clinical meaning when communicating across languages
- Refine complex psychiatric terminology for linguistic accuracy
- Ensure cultural and clinical fidelity throughout bilingual materials
AI Evaluation & Ethical Review
- Evaluate AI-generated content involving psychiatric and mental-health topics
- Review analytical methods used by AI systems in clinical scenarios
- Identify inaccurate, unsafe, or poorly contextualised psychiatric reasoning
- Apply ethical judgement when reviewing sensitive case material
- Provide structured feedback to improve model understanding and performance
Documentation & Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Document evaluations, findings, and recommendations systematically
- Create clear case analyses suitable for research and training workflows
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary technical and research teams
- Explain psychiatric concepts clearly to non-clinical stakeholders
- Contribute professional insights to evolving evaluation methodologies
Ideal Profile
- Medical degree such as MD, MBBS, or equivalent
- Completed psychiatry residency
- Valid medical licence
- Native fluency in Malay
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
- Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment planning
- Strong background in psychiatric case documentation
- Experience working within Malay clinical settings
- Strong understanding of culturally informed mental-health practice
- Ability to apply ethical reasoning to complex psychiatric scenarios
- Familiarity with both Western and Malay psychiatric frameworks
- Experience developing teaching materials, case studies, or research content
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
