We're seeking an experienced Controller based in Argentina or South America to lead accounting and financial reporting for our multi-state, multi-entity U.S. business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll own the close process, consolidated reporting, and reconciliations. This role requires strong, demonstrated financial reporting experience — you'll be producing the numbers our leadership runs the business on. What You'll Do Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports across entities and locations (NJ, NY, TX) Manage AP/AR, general ledger, and account reconciliations to a clean, audit-ready standard Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with the CFO Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness Partner with HR/payroll on labor cost reporting and compliance Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners What We're Looking For Based in Argentina or South America with reliable remote work setup Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / Contador Público or equivalent strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a proven track record in financial reporting — monthly close, consolidations, and management reporting Experience reporting for U.S. companies and familiarity with US GAAP strongly preferred Multi-entity accounting experience; distribution, food/produce, or logistics industry a plus Strong systems skills ([ERP — confirm]); Rippling and SAP Concur exposure a plus Fully bilingual English/Spanish, with strong written English for leadership reporting Self-directed and effective working remotely with a lean U.S.-based team
