Primary Responsibilities Build models to forecast financial impact of business strategies Analyze pharmacy and medical benefit claims to identify trends in cost/utilization data Query from relational databases and summarize information in a meaningful way Identify and lead process automation opportunities through various programming languages such as SQL, R and Tableau Present key findings and analytical reports to stakeholders Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business or a related field 3+ years of work experience in an analytics capacity Intermediate level proficiency with Excel, SQL and at least one of the following: R, SAS or Python Ability to navigate relational databases Ability to understand all necessary requirements of a request and to solve a problem when faced with ambiguity Ability to communicate and present data to stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience in the healthcare insurance industry, preferably with exposure to medical and/or pharmacy claims data Intermediate level proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
