- Work closely with Platform Engineers to troubleshoot infrastructure and Kubernetes issues.
- Automate operational tasks and reduce manual operational toil using SRE practices.
- Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation where required.
- Implement infrastructure security hardening and operational best practices.
- 3+ years of hands-on Linux system administration in production.
- Strong experience with Linux environments such as RHEL, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu.
- Production experience with Docker.
- Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Kubernetes monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Strong knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security and production operations.
- Experience with SUSE Linux and on-premise Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kubernetes ingress controllers, service meshes, and network policies.
- Experience with distributed tracing and advanced observability.
- Experience with AWS environments and network segmentation.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, WAF, and network security.
- Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
- Are you available to start within the next 4 weeks?
- Can you work with at least 4 hours overlap with AEST?
- Do you have 3+ years of production Linux administration experience?
- Have you managed the full Linux server lifecycle, including provisioning, patching, and decommissioning?
- Do you have 2+ years of production Docker experience?
- Have you deployed and managed production Kubernetes clusters?
- Do you have experience with Kubernetes networking and observability?
- Have you built monitoring stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or similar?
- Have you managed CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar?
- Do you have hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools?
- Do you have experience with infrastructure security hardening, firewalls, VPNs, or WAF?
- Have you worked with on-premise Linux/Kubernetes environments?
- Have you applied SRE principles to improve platform reliability and reduce operational toil?
We are looking for a DevOps/SRE engineer who is highly focused on production reliability rather than simply building deployment pipelines.
- The ideal candidate can operate Linux and Kubernetes platforms, build strong observability systems, troubleshoot production incidents, automate operational work, and work closely with infrastructure engineers to maintain a highly available platform
