About the Company

Our client is an established orthodontic practice with a growing digital production pipeline. They've built their case workflow around OnyxCeph and in-house 3D printing, and are scaling the digital side of the operation to keep pace with a busy on-site team. This is a 100% software-based role supporting that pipeline from file intake through print-ready export.

The Role

You'll own the digital prep work that sits between incoming scans and the printer: organizing files, building out cases in OnyxCeph, and getting everything slicer-ready. It's a detail-driven role where consistency and clean documentation directly determine how smoothly the on-site production team can move.

Responsibilities

• Download, organize, and label incoming STL files from cloud systems into structured case folders
• Open and manage patient cases in OnyxCeph, inserting and adjusting templates per SOPs and checklists
• Save, export, and upload finalized digital models for on-site printing
• Load STL files into slicer software, apply predefined settings, and verify build orientation
• Mark digital tasks complete in the practice management system and keep case notes and file versions current
• Flag case readiness or missing information to the on-site team through clear written updates

Requirements

• Confident computer skills with strong digital file and folder management habits
• Comfort learning slicer/pre-print software workflows (training provided)
• Ability to follow structured SOPs, tutorials, and digital checklists precisely
• Clear written English for documentation and cross-team communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with OnyxCeph, Blender, or other 3D/CAD software
• Familiarity with orthodontic workflows, STL file formats, or digital production processes
• Knowledge of 3D design principles (e.g. CAD modeling, mesh editing) is a strong plus for this role
