Remote ELV Draftsman

About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced ELV Draftsman to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you’ll prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for various ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, AV, and other integrated systems. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate and compliant technical documentation that supports successful ELV system implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality drafting and CAD drawings for ELV system designs, schematics, and layouts.
• Interpret design briefs, site data, and technical specifications to create precise ELV system documentation.
• Ensure all drawings meet project standards, regulations, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with engineers and project leads to revise and update drawings as needed.
• Maintain organized electronic filing of drawings and revisions.
• Support the team with technical documentation and deliverables within agreed timelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience drafting ELV systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong knowledge of ELV standards, symbols, and system integration.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into detailed drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills (written and spoken).
