Remote Data Entry Specialist

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Location: 100% Remote

Eligible Locations: Candidates must reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zone

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time

Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extension or conversion

This is a project-based opportunity with the potential for contract extensions or conversion as workflow continues to grow. Equipment is provided, and team members are readily available through group chat to answer questions and help you succeed.

What Youll Do

• Enter and update information with a high degree of accuracy
• Review claims to help ensure appropriate refunds are issued
• Record payments and processed refunds accurately
• Navigate an internal operating system to complete assigned work
• Perform quality checks to maintain data integrity
• Review processed refunds for completeness and reasonableness
• Manage repetitive, detail-oriented tasks while maintaining focus and productivity
• Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to support reporting and documentation

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of office or administrative experience
• Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to work independently and stay focused while completing repetitive tasks
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and reports
• Comfort learning and navigating internal software systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Data entry speed of at least 3,500 keystrokes per hour with 90% accuracy or higher
• Previous quality assurance experience
• Experience working with claims, payments, refunds, or detailed financial records
• Familiarity with proprietary or virtual desktop software

Remote Work Requirements

• Residence in the Pacific or Mountain time zone
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time
• Dedicated workspace with enough room for two monitors and additional equipment
• Reliable internet service
• Ability to connect the provided equipment directly to your internet router using an Ethernet connection

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
