We are seeking a Remote Coordinator to join a New York home care agency. Our clients are seniors who require assistance from home health aides. The role focuses on organizing and coordinating home care services and helping ensure that patients receive reliable, appropriate support.

You will enjoy this position if you know how to work with people, listen to their needs, coordinate their actions, and have strong decision-making and planning skills. You will work with a supportive team and under the supervision of a demanding yet experienced manager.

The skills we are looking for:

  • Spoken and written English, Russian, and Spanish at a minimum Upper-Intermediate level (our patients are US citizens as well as immigrants from CIS countries).
  • Computer skills, including Gmail, Excel, CRM systems, and working with files in different formats.
  • Your own computer and reliable internet access.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Customer support experience is a plus.
  • High level of stress resistance and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

The position will fit people who like challenges, are willing to learn new soft skills through solving complex problems, can handle a high workload, and enjoy working with elderly people, including people with mental and physical health conditions and those living in difficult circumstances.

The specialist should be prepared to deal with complex, unexpected, and time-sensitive situations during their shifts.

What is the work schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM according to New York time. Occasional overtime may be required and is paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.

What do we offer:

  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
  • Work with an experienced team under the supervision of a manager.
  • Remote work.
  • Paid vacation after one year of employment.
  • Bonus system as a way for employees to express appreciation to each other.
  • IP phone and all necessary software, including CRM, virtual fax, SMS service, and VPN.
  • Open-minded management and accessible supervisors.
  • Equal opportunities regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
  • Opportunity to develop skills in adaptability, conflict resolution, prioritization, time management, work ethic, professional email communication, report preparation, and more.

What would be your responsibilities:

  • Monitor home health aide visits to patients through the CRM system.
  • Speak with patients and home health aides by phone to assist with questions and resolve issues.
  • Communicate with hospitals, adult daycare centers, rehabilitation centers, and patients' relatives.
  • Contact insurance plans regarding overtime approvals, authorization extensions, and guidance in various situations.
  • Search the database for available home health aides to arrange replacements for sick leaves, days off, vacations, and refusals.
  • Use the CRM system to manage schedules, visits, new home health aides, and shift changes.
  • Prepare reports and communication notes regarding patient schedule changes and health conditions.
