Job Description This is a remote position. PERMANENT AU DAYSHIFT, REMOTE/WFH PHILIPPINES1 Role: Remote Outsourced Joinery Drafter Role Type: Full Time We are looking for an experienced Joinery Drafter to join our team on a remote, outsourced basis. The client is cabinetry business delivering custom kitchens, cabinetry and joinery projects, with a strong focus on accurate documentation, quality workmanship and keeping jobs organised from design through to production. This role would suit someone with solid cabinetry drafting experience, particularly someone confident working remotely and able to take a job from plans and measurements through to accurate production-ready documentation. Key responsibilities • Drafting custom kitchens, cabinetry and joinery projects • Interpreting architectural plans, drawings and site measurements • Preparing accurate cabinetry drawings and production documentation • Creating detailed layouts, elevations and cabinetry details • Ensuring drawings are practical and suitable for manufacture • Checking dimensions, clearances, materials and construction details • Identifying potential issues before jobs reach production • Making revisions and updates as required • Communicating clearly with our team regarding drawings, changes and job requirements • Maintaining organised and accurate job files and documentation • Working to agreed deadlines and managing multiple jobs when required About you • Experienced in joinery/cabinetry drafting • Strong understanding of cabinetry construction and manufacturing processes • Experience with Cabinet Vision is highly preferred • Able to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings • Understands how cabinetry goes together in the real world. not just how it looks on screen • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Able to identify problems and think through practical solutions • Organised and able to manage your own workload remotely • Reliable and responsive during agreed working hours • Communicates clearly in English • Comfortable taking direction but also able to work independently • Takes ownership of work and meets deadlines without constant supervision What we're looking for We’re not just looking for someone who can produce drawings. We want a drafter who understands joinery, can think ahead, catches mistakes before they become production issues and produces clear, practical documentation that our team can actually build from. This is an outsourced remote position, so you will need your own reliable computer, internet connection and suitable workspace. Experience with Cabinet Vision is a requirement.
