Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Remote Lighting Design Technician Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,800 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding lighting wholesaler dedicated to exclusively servicing lighting contractors across Australia. Role Overview: Support an Australian lighting design team producing lighting calculations and technical documentation for commercial projects using DIALux Evo and AutoCAD. This role requires a knowledgeable technical professional who can confidently work within established Australian lighting compliance workflows. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and modifying lighting calculation models and layouts Producing accurate technical reports and supporting documentation Reviewing architectural and electrical plans Ensuring designs align with applicable Australian standards and project requirements Required Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated experience producing lighting calculations for Australian commercial projects Familiarity with the Australian National Construction Code (NCC) Advanced proficiency in DIALux Evo and solid AutoCAD skills Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and electrical plans High attention to detail and strong written English communication Ability to work independently and raise technical queries when clarification is required Preferred Experience supporting Australian electrical contractors, consultants, or lighting wholesalers Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, AGi32, Relux, & Photometric Toolbox software Experience working remotely within Australian business hours Important Notes: This is a technical production role working under supervision.
