- A strong working knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping practices and GST/HST treatment relevant to Ontario operations.
- Advanced practical experience with Xero, including reconciliations, bank rules, reporting, and correcting bookkeeping errors.
- Strong hands-on experience with Hubdoc and its integration with Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate issues independently.
- Clear written and spoken English, reliable communication, and consistent follow-through.
- Experience working remotely and handling sensitive financial information securely.
Additional assets include:
- Bookkeeping experience with U.S. businesses.
- Experience managing CAD/USD transactions and multicurrency accounts.
- Familiarity with Canadian payroll bookkeeping and Ontario payroll requirements.
- Experience supporting professional services or training businesses an asset.
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications and Xero certification an asset.

- Your Canadian bookkeeping experience, specifically with Ontario businesses.
- How extensively you have used Xero and Hubdoc, including the tasks you managed.
- Any relevant U.S. bookkeeping experience.
