The Role This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process. As a Fullmind Occupational Therapist, you will: Deliver engaging, high-quality OT instruction in a remote classroom, building the same rapport and momentum an in-person therapist would Evaluate fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, and translate findings into clear, actionable goals Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP in a remote setting. Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators — to keep everyone aligned on student progress Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program Active New York State OT license in good standing NBCOT certification Comfort and experience with telepractice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP setting A reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace Strong remote-collaboration skills. You'll be a full partner to classroom teachers, case managers, and families even without being in the building Authorization to work in the United States This is a 1099 contract position; it does not include employee benefits.
