Remote Physician - Virtual Urgent Care (Weekend hours!)

Job Description: Our 1099 Virtual Urgent Care Physicians provide high quality, patient-centered, acute care services through secure video and phone consultations. This role is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating low to moderate acuity medical conditions while delivering exceptional patient experience in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical acumen with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage care efficiently in a technology-enabled model. Must be able to work weekends! Responsibilities: Provide real-time medical consultations to patients via video, phone, or chat platforms. Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of non-emergency medical conditions remotely. Prescribe medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory requirements. Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records. Educate patients on self-care, preventive measures, and treatment plans. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed. Contribute to maintain clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures. Requirements : Education: Board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or related field. Valid medical license (MD, DO) in the relevant state(s). Multi State licensure required (Compact State participation preferred) - 30+ state licenses highly desired Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience (Urgent Care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or primary care) Experience: Prior telehealth experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred. Proficiency with telemedicine technology and electronic health records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, especially on weekends.
