We are urgently seeking a Native English-speaking LQA Specialist with game localization expertise to quality-check Korean-to-English translations for in-game content (UI, dialogues, quests, item descriptions). Ensure linguistic precision, gameplay clarity, and cultural adaptation for Western gaming audiences. Job Highlights: Work completely remotely. Full immersion in engaging game content. Responsibilities Perform linguistic QA on Korean to English localized game assets (text strings, voice-over scripts, patch notes). Flag and categorize critical issues: mistranslations, placeholder errors, lore inconsistencies, tone mismatches. Verify compliance with game-specific terminology bibles, character limits, and platform requirements (console/PC/mobile). Test in-game text implementation for truncation, formatting, and UI display issues. Collaborate with narrative designers and developers to preserve creative intent. Identify cultural sensitivities in dialogues/storylines for target regions (NA/EU/ANZ). Requirements Native English fluency + professional Korean reading/writing proficiency. 2+ years of game LQA experience (Korean to English localization mandatory). Deep knowledge of gaming terminology across genres (RPGs, MMOs, F2P mobile) Hands-on experience with Game localization tools and Bug-tracking systems (JIRA, TestRail, Hansoft or similar)
